The grand opening of Stuart's Smokehouse happened in April 2005 after owner Stuart Brugh recognized the Greenbrier Valley’s need for quality smoked meats.
After visiting Top 20 BBQ Nation competition team, MuleTuf Smokers, in Sikeston, MO, not only did Stuart bring home a custom-built smoker for the restaurant but he brought home a few meat smoking secrets as well. In addition to the smoker, a 2,400 square foot deck overlooking the Greenbrier River was built to provide an enticing environment for guests to enjoy great food, live music, and beautiful West Virginia scenery.
Not to be overshadowed by meat, Stuart added some amazing seafood to the menu: crab legs, shrimp and even whole lobsters!
Stuart has made big steps in lessening the carbon footprint that is left behind by using all biodegradable and compostable plates while continuing to go above and beyond since 2005 to leave all of Stuart's Smokehouse guests with full bellies and smiling faces!
